I liked the organization's mission of bringing education and networking opportunities to members. I believe that Treasury and Corporate Finance are very important but often overlooked aspects of an organization and want to grow the visibility and accessibility of this organization.

What's your favorite part about working with AFP Edmonton?

The opportunity it presents to meet and work with talented people from across industries and, now, from across the country thanks to our national collaboration with other Canadian associations.

What related experience do you have?

I hold Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and MBA degrees from the University of Alberta as well as the CTP certification and I have a diverse background in several industries. I spent my early working years in manufacturing and commercial earthworks construction helping to build products and infrastructure before shifting into treasury and corporate finance for the past 14 years.

What are you passionate about?

By my nature, I’m pretty passionate about almost everything. But top of mind for me these days is environmental and social sustainability and working towards a more equitable world.
