AFP Edmonton is pleased to present Joe Gagliardi, FCMA, and Managing Partner for Recruitment Partners. Joe is a Certified Management Accountant, having received his designation in 1996. Since 2006 Joe has worked in recruitment, specifically helping senior level accounting & finance professionals find new career challenges. In 2011, Joe was a Founding Partner of Recruitment Partners; a recruitment firm specialized in Accounting & Finance. Prior to recruitment, Joe held senior level accounting positions in industries ranging from oil & gas manufacturing to food processing. Joe is an active volunteer in the business community. He currently serves as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for CMA Alberta and is the Chairperson of the Accounting Advisory Council for the J.R. Shaw School of Business (NAIT). Previously, Joe has served on the CMA - Edmonton Chapter as the chairperson. In 2012, Joe was formally recognized for his contribution to the CMA designation by being awarded the CMA Award of Excellence for his contribution to the profession. Then in 2014 he was awarded his fellowship from CMA Canada and is now an FCMA.
Joe will enlighten us with information about the Current & Future Employment Market and the expectations in our job market. He will also provide handy tips about how we can close some of the generation gaps and increase our odds for success.
