State of the Insurance Industry

Severe weather and natural catastrophes are on the rise across the country.

Alberta has been subject to about 60% of all natural catastrophic insured losses in the last decade amounting to billions of dollars. We are seeing more discipline in commercial underwriting over the last couple of years as well leading to challenges in the market.

Hear Rob de Pruis, Director, Consumer and Industry Relations, Western and Pacific, of the Insurance Bureau of Canada speak on the State of the Insurance Industry in Canada, as well as the market events and factors leading to the concerns we face today.

Please join AFP Edmonton and Rob on February 27th, 2020 at the Sutton Place Hotel for this important and engaging luncheon.
