AFPC Edmonton is pleased to present Pierre-Yves Morisset, the Managing Director, Western Canada and Pacific Northwest for Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

 

Pierre has 15 years' experience sourcing and financing capital expenditures and projects across Canada, particularly Quebec and western Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Finance, and his Master’s in Finance (MBA) at Laval University.

 

Pierre is responsible for originating asset-based loans for middle market manufacturers, distributors, retailers and services businesses, cash flow loans for software and technology companies as well as other corporate finance solutions (factoring, etc.). Loans range from $5 million to $1 billion or more and are used for working capital, growth, acquisitions, turnaround and restructuring, and to finance buy-outs by private equity firms.

 

Prior to his time at Wells Fargo, Pierre held positions including of Head of Corporate Accounts & Western Canada with CIBC Asset-Based Lending, Partner at Charlestown Investments, and numerous roles leading to Vice President – Western Canada at GE Corporate Lending.
